  • Stay continuously updated with regulatory frameworks impacting the company, including Companies Act and private market investment guidelines
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and circulars affecting Pre-IPO, Private Equity, and unlisted securities
  • Advise management on required adaptations to remain compliant
  • Develop and maintain internal compliance policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness
  • Legal Advisory (Internal & External
  • Act as the primary legal advisor for all company operations
  • Provide legal guidance to management on business decisions and risk exposure
  • Identify legal risks in new initiatives, partnerships, or deal structures
  • Contracts & Agreements Oversight
  • oDraft, review, and vet legal agreements including:
  • NDAs
  • Non-poaching / Non-solicitation agreements
  • Employment contracts
  • Vendor agreements
  • Investor agreements
  • Deal-related documentation
  • Add, modify, or remove contractual clauses to safeguard the company’s legal interests
  • Ensure enforceability and legal strength of all contracts
  • Documentation & Due Diligence
  • Draft legal and corporate documents as required by the company
  • Conduct legal due diligence for companies being onboarded for investment deals
  • Review corporate records, compliance history, litigation exposure, and legal structure of potential investee companies

  • Develop learning materials including sales scripts, FAQs, objection-handling playbooks.

  • Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-floor training sessions.
  • Certify Relationship Managers before they are authorized to pitch live deals.
  • Train sales teams on ethical selling practices and investor suitability norms.
  • Roll out refresher and update training programs whenever new products or deals are introduced.
